Air fryer soft milk buns: how to make them fluffy and tasty

You can make them in the air fryer or in the oven!
These easy and fluffy milk bread rolls are made with just a few ingredients and they have never tasted so good.

These easy and fluffy milk bread rolls are made with just a few ingredients and they have never tasted so good.
INGREDIENTS
45g (3 tbsp) butter melted
125ml (0.5 cup) Milk
25g (2 tbsp) Sugar
a pinch of salt
1 large Egg
7g (1 1/2 tsp) dry active yeast
200g (1.5 cup) All-Purpose Flour
Hazelnut cream
Egg wash:
1 egg + 1 tsp milk
METHOD
- Mix sugar and yeast in warm milk. Let this mixture sit for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes add egg and melted butter into the yeast mixture and stir them. Pour this liquid mixture into a bowl and add flour. Mix with a wooden spoon. You’ll get a sticky dough, but that’s okay. Now cover the bowl with cling wrap and cloth, and let the dough proof for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- After 1 hour, deflate the gas of dough and knead it in the same bowl for 1 minute and again let it sit for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, knead the dough again for 1 minute. Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead through the fold and push method for 5-6 minutes.
- Divide dough into 2 equal pieces and then each piece further into 3 pieces. Shape each piece like a round ball.
- Put them in the Air Fryer basket that has been lined with a baking sheet. Put Air Fryer basket into Air Fryer without turning it on and let dough balls proof for another 1 hour or until the dough balls have roughly doubled in size.
- Brush the top of rolls with egg wash to make them more appealing when they will come out of the Air Fryer. Now Set Air Fryer’s Temp at 180 degrees for 15-20Fminutes or until golden brown.
- Serve the rolls warm and with hazelnut cream.
