Looking for a quick dinner roll recipe you can make in no time? Look no further! This Air Fryer Roll recipe is much quicker than the classic baked version and taste just as delicious. These air fryer dinner rolls are soft, light, and fluffy… they make the perfect side to any main meal. You can even enjoy them for breakfast or brunch!

With a few basic ingredients like egg, sugar, yeast, milk, cooking oil, and all-purpose flour, you have all you need to make delicious rolls for the dinner table. Mix together the ingredients, allow to rise, and bake in your Airfryer. Who knew fluffy dinner rolls can be made with so little effort?

How To Make Air Fryer Rolls

The dough needs to be prepared at least an hour before you want to serve the rolls, to allow for rising time. To make the dough, mix together the egg, sugar, yeast, and milk. Stir through the oil, before adding the flour and salt. Knead the ingredients together until the dough starts to form.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, then turn the dough upside down to make sure all the sides are covered with oil. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and allow to rise for 1 hour or until double in size.

Now it’s time to form the rolls.  Flatten the dough slightly, then divide it into 3 oz dough balls. Place the rolls into a greased Airfryer basket and bake in the air fryer at 160°C for 15 minutes.

Tips

If you prefer the bread texture to be more chewy, use bread flour.

The recipe will work with low-fat and non-dairy milk.

Serve the rolls as a side to any main dish, or add a chicken burger patty and create your own sliders! Alternatively, add your favorite sweet or savory filling. It’s great to fill with last night’s leftovers!

How To Store Air Fryer Dinner Rolls

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container (at room temperature) for up to 3 days.

Can You Freeze Air Fryer Rolls?

You can also freeze fresh rolls and thaw them as you need them. Allow the rolls to cool completely. Then wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Transfer to a Ziploc bag and freeze for up to 3 months.
