Chocolate cake with cherries jam: the recipe everybody will love

Ingredients: 
 
- For the batter: 
4 eggs 
A pinch of salt 
120 g of sugar 
40 ml of water 
90 g of flour 
30 g of cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking powder
 
- For the cherries jam: 
400 g of frozen cherries 
130 g of sugar 
1 tsp of lemon juice 
40 ml of water 
30 g of corn starch 
 
- For the cream: 
400 g of cream cheese 
100 g of powdered sugar 
300 g of whipping cream 
20 g of cocoa powder 
 
- For the syrup: 
120 ml of water 
1 tbsp of sugar 
 
- For decoration: 
150 g of dark chocolate 
20 g of vegetable oil 
Whipped cream 
Cherries 
 
Directions: 
1. In a large bowl whip eggs with salt and sugar using electrical whisks for 10 minutes. Then add water. 
2. Mix and sift the powders (flour, cocoa and baking powder) to mix them into the eggs mix. 
3. Pour the batter in a round cake pan (20 cm diameter). 
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. 
5. In a sauce pan heat cherries, sugar and lemon juice on medium heat to make the jam. 
6. Boil and cook for 3-4 minutes. 
7. Mix water and corn starch, then pour this mix into the cherries while still cooking. Stir well until it thickens. 
8. Divide the cake into 3 equal layers. 
9. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and cream using electrical whisk until it's well combined. 
10. Divide the cream in two and put some cocoa powder in one half. 
11. Now assemble the cake. First, wet the cake layers with a syrup made mixing water and sugar. Alternate chocolate cream, cherries jam and white cream. 
12. Let the cake cool in the fridge for 4-6 hours. 
13. Melt some chocolate with vegetable oil in the microwave and use this mix to decorate the cake. Also add whipped cream peaks and cherries.
