Chocolate pound cake: an easy dessert that everyone will love

INGREDIENTS
For the cake:
100g of dark chocolate
80ml (1/4 cup) of milk (hot)
150g (3/4 cup) of butter
120g (1/2 cup) of sugar
3 eggs
120g (1 cup) of all-purpose flour
30g (1/4 cup) of cocoa powder
1/2 tsp of baking powder
For chocolate ganache:
100g of dark chocolate
20g (1 1/2 tbsp) of butter
METHOD
1. In a small bowl add the chocolate and pour the milk over it. Mix until the chocolate is melted and all is well combined.
2. In a bowl add the butter and sugar and mix until the butter are creamy and the sugar is dissolved. Gradually add the eggs and mix.
3. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and mix well. Add the previously prepared chocolate and mix until all is well combined.
4. Pour the mixture into the pound cake mold (20x8x7cm - poundcake mold size) covered with parchment paper and level it up. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180Β°C/360Β°F for 60-90 minutes.
5. Add the chocolate and butter into the bowl and melt over the pot with hot water. Mix until is well combined.
6. Pour the chocolate over the prepared cake and level it up well on all sides of the cake. Cut on pieces and serve.
