YOGURT SHORTCRUST PASTRY: how to prepare the dough in a few minutes, and without butter! πͺπ₯§

INGREDIENTS
300g (2 Β½ cups) of all-purpose flour
120g (Β½ cup + 1 Β½ tbsp) of sugar
125g (Β½ cup) of full-fat white yogurt
1 egg
A pinch of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract

METHOD
1. Mix the yogurt and the egg in a large bowl using a spoon.
2. Add the sugar, salt, and vanilla extract, and mix again until you get a smooth cream.
3. Finally, add the flour and continue mixing until you get a workable dough.
4. Transfer the dough to your work surface and form it into a ball; it should be elastic and workable.
5. At this point, you can refrigerate the dough until ready to use.
6. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin and a bit of flour to prevent sticking. You can now use it as a base for tarts, tartlets, or cookies.
