published on 11 April, 2020 at 10:31
These farm workers put their health at risk every day by continuing to wor to ensure that basic needs are not lacking in everyone's homes. So while most of us are safe under our roofs these silent heroes wake up early in the morning and reach those fields that allow them to earn a living where, for a few months, they have been not only growing fruit and vegetables but also the fear of contracting that virus that is affecting the whole world. Even though their work is essential, these people often remain invisible to the eyes of the law. So, farm workers are willing to work for hours in the hot sun or in the rain to avoid losing the only way they have to survive and to provide food for their families. They are on the frontline in the fight against Coronavirus along with doctors and nurses from all over the planet
defending the health of every citizen with all their strength and dedication, even the laborers who sacrifice themselves behind the scenes of this epochal battle cannot and must not be forgotten in the shadows because without their precious help in this struggle we would all be weaker.
