"Delivery Macho", the bodybuilder who delivers sushi at home and undresses for his customers
published on 10 July, 2020 at 12:46
Imagine ordering delicious sushi for dinner and watching a striptease right outside your front door, this is the latest idea of Japanese entrepreneur Masanori Sugiura. Since Coronavirus has stopped everyone from enjoying a light-hearted meal out, more and more people have opted for home delivery service. So Masanori went out of his way to bring some fun into the customers' homes and give them a very special experience, enticing them to order from his restaurant. As an avid bodybuilder, Masanori has found a way to combine his passion with his job, catering, creating the "Vber Macho" project, making deliveries in the city of Nagoya. Masanori has competed in several bodybuilding competitions and would never have imagined that his challengers would soon become his colleagues. After delivering the freshest sushi in the hands of the customers, these six models give them the opportunity to attend a real show. So, they start to show their hot physique and make themselves available for small photo shoots on the doorstep, so that fun, one-of-a-kind moment is kept forever. The essential thing for these ‘delivery machoes’ is social distancing. While delivering a service that is all about the body, deliveries are made respecting the 2 metres safe distance. Masanori managed to combine entertainment with the traditions of his country. He and his colleagues bring the most famous Japanese food by wearing "happi", a typical coat that allow them to easily strip from the waist up when making deliveries. The videos of their deliveries have turned them into Internet stars, and this led thousands of people to request the entrepreneur to extend the service even outside of Nagoya. With this project, Masanori has found the recipe to overcome such a difficult time, combining good sushi with a pinch of irony and a muscular build. He has been able to turn an ordinary home delivery into an experience that his customers won't easily forget.
