These women decided to make a gift to the hidden heroes of the Coronavirus pandemic: a special cake made with their own hands, to be given to all the people of the neighborhood who put who have worked hard to serve communities during the pandemic. Min and his mother Pritpal live in Harglington, London and have decided to carry out this mission of love, to give a smile to those who fought in silence during this hard time. Pritpal chose the ingredients and baked the cakes, while Min decorated them with beautiful henna design, in honor of their Indian origins.
So the two women went to these people personally, to thank them for everything they did, and keep doing, for others, like Linda, a 71-year-old lady who every day buys food for the most needy or Margherita, a woman who, after defeating cancer, decided to help the homeless. Although Coronavirus has made all human contact difficult, Min and Pritpal, by baking their cakes, have found a way to convey the warmth of a hug and to thank those who choose the path of solidarity every day, so that their work never goes unnoticed.
