Šampita, the Croatian dessert recipe: delicious and creamy

Ingredients:
Dough:
7 yolks
100 gr icing sugar
70 ml oil
70 ml milk
100 gr flour
Syrup:
480 gr sugar
3 package of vanillin
100 ml water
1 tbsp lemon juice
7 egg whites
1 pinch of salt
Directions:
Dough: mix the yolks with the icing sugar and add the oil, milk and flour. Pour the mixture into a rectangular pan and bake at 356°F (180°) for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan, mix the sugar with vanillin, water and lemon juice. Bring to a boil.
Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff and then add the syrup. Cut and stuff the cake.
