Layered potato cake: perfect for a quick and tasty dinner!

INGREDIENTS
• 3 kg large potatoes
• 150ml olive oil
• salt
•Black pepper
• 350g ham
• 300g cheese
For the sauce:
• 350ml cream
•3 eggs
•nutmeg
METHOD
1.) Wash the potatoes and cut them into slices about 0.5 cm thick.
2.) Put the slices on a baking sheet and season with olive oil, coarse salt and pepper. Then cook the potatoes in an oven at 180°C/350°F for 15 minutes.
3.) Grease the spring form with butter and cover it with baked potato slices. Once the base is completely covered, place the baked potato slices around the edge.
4.) Add 3 slices of ham on baked potatoes and then grated cheese.
5.) Now cook the sauce, pour the cream and eggs into a bowl, season the mixture with salt, pepper and grated nutmeg and mix well.
6.) Pour 1/3 of the sauce on the grated cheese. Then put the other layers of baked potato, ham and grated cheese - then again 1/3 of the sauce and 3 more layers, similar to the previous one. The last layer should consist of slices of baked potatoes. Cook the potato pie in the oven at 160°C/320°F for 60 minutes.
Allow to cool before chopping. Decorate with parsley
