The recipe for a delicious homemade diplomat cake

Ingredients:
500g puff pastry
Sugar (just enough)
sponge cake
650g custard
Syrup (500ml water, 200g sugar and 260ml liqueur)
Almonds
Powdered sugar
Directions:
Prepare the dough by poking holes with a fork and covering with sugar. Previously prepare the sponge cake and custard following the recipe you prefer. For the syrup, put the water, the sugar and the liqueur in a saucepan and mix them together. Create your diplomat cake as shown in the video.
