MINCED MEAT SKEWERS: If you want a tasty and delicious appetizer, you have to try these!

INGREDIENTS
510g minced meat
1 egg
35g (1/4 cup) breadcrumbs
35g (1/3 cup) Parmesan
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
160g bacon
Extra virgin olive oil
 
METHOD
1. In a large bowl, add the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands until fully combined and smooth.
2. Take portions of the meat mixture and form them into elongated sausage shapes.
3. Insert a wooden skewer into each one. Wrap each meat sausage tightly with slices of bacon.
4. Heat a pan with extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the spiedini and cook, turning often, until golden on all sides.
5. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
