CHARD FRITTERS: crunchy and tasty!

INGREDIENTS
130g chard
1 egg
190ml (3/4 cup) water
190g (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
8g (1/2 tbsp) baking powder
A pinch of salt
20g Parmesan
Marjoram
For frying:
Oil for frying
METHOD
1. Clean the chard and cut it into pieces. Blanch for about 7 minutes until tender, then drain well, squeeze out excess water, and finely chop.
2. In a bowl, add the egg and water. Whisk until combined.
3. Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, Parmesan, and marjoram. Whisk until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
4. Add the chopped chard to the batter and mix to combine.
5. Spoon the mixture into a pot of hot oil and fry until golden.
6. Serve the fritters on a serving dish and enjoy.
