Homemade apple strudel: the recipe for a delicious dessert

Ingredients: 
 
- For the dough: 
200 g of flour 
50 g of sugar 
50 g of butter
1 medium-sized egg 
30 g of water 
2 g of salt
 
- For the filling: 
600 g of apple 
110 g of sugar 
70 g of chopped almonds
60 g of raisins 
60 g of breadcrumbs 
30 g of lemon juice
Cinnamon 
 
- For decoration: 
1 egg for brushing 
Powdered sugar
 
Directions: 
1. Mix flour, sugar, salt and diced butter. Mix with your hands. 
2. Stir in water and egg, then knead until you get a smooth dough. 
3. Cover with some plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes at room temperature. 
4. Dice apples. Then mix with lemon juice, sugar, breadcrumbs, almonds, raisins and cinnamon. 
5. Flatten the dough into a very thin sheet using a rolling pin. 
6. Fill with apple mixture and roll. Then move into a tray covered in baking paper. 
7. Brush with some whisked eggs and cut its surface. 
8. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° for about 55 minutes. 
9. Let cool, decorate with powdered sugar and slice to serve.
