Meringue cake with cherries: the recipe for a mouthwatering dessert

Ingredients:
- For the meringue:
160 g of egg whites
210 g of powdered sugar
1/2 tsp of vanilla or lemon flavoring
1 tbsp of lemon juice
20 g of cornstarch
- For the cherry filling:
350 g of cherries
20 g of corn starch
- For the white cream:
400 g of mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese)
50 g of powdered sugar
200 g of whipping cream
Directions:
1. Whip egg whites until foamy. Then add powdered sugar gradually.
2. Add vanilla and lemon juice.
3. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray, then bake at 150° for 35 minutes.
4. Pour cherries and cornstarch in a saucepan, then add sugar and stir.
5. Cook on the stove until it thickens.
6. Cut the meringue in two parts.
7. In a bowl mix cheese, powdered sugar and whipping cream.
8. Assemble the cake alternating white meringue, white filling and cherry filling.
9. Use white filling to decorate the top.
10. Finish with some chocolate decoration.
