Meringue snowmen: the funny dessert for your holiday party!

INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
1 cup (200g) sugar;
½ cup (130ml) water;
4 egg whites;
Lemon wedge;
Food dye and sprinkles for decor.
METHOD
- Preheat your oven to the lowest temperature possible.
- Run the lemon or lime wedges on the bottom and the sides of a large bowl to remove any fat.
- Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Boil sugar and water to 115C/240F. Start pouring the sugar syrup into egg whites while working the mixture at the highest speed.
- Continue working with the mixture until desired stiffness.
- Dye half of egg whites with green food coloring.
- Pipe green food coloring using a star nozzle and forming Christmas trees as shown on the video. Decorate with some sprinkles.
- Use white meringue to pipe out snowmen as shown in the video.
- Dry the meringue out in the oven for 6-8 hours or until fully dry. Decorate snowman with food coloring.
