Cherry cake: for a delicious dessert!

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
120g (½ cup) of sugar
2g (½ tsp) of vanilla sugar
140g (½ cup) of yogurt
120ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) of vegetable oil
16g (1 tbsp) of baking powder
Zest of 1 lemon
200g (1 ½ cups) of all-purpose flour
Fresh cherries

METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
2. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest until pale. Add yogurt and vegetable oil. Mix to combine.
3. In a separate bowl whisk flour with baking powder.
4. Add dry ingredients into the liquids and whisk just until the batter comes together and there are no lumps left.
5. Pour into a 22cm baking pan and place cherries on top.
6. Bake for 25 minutes. Flip and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
