Lemon swivel cake: the recipe to make it creamy and fragrant

Ingredients:
- For the lemon custard:
400 ml of milk
40 g of cornstarch/cake flour
100 ml of lemon juice
Lemon zest
2 eggs
200 g of sugar
- For the batter:
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
100-120 g of sugar
100 ml of milk
50 ml of sunflower seeds oil
170 g of cake flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Directions:
1. For the cream: in a saucepan heat up some milk with lemon zest.
2. Aside, whisk eggs with sugar, then add in corn starch.
3. Also add lemon juice and hot milk.
4. Cook on the stove at low heat and stir continuously until it thickens.
5. Cover with some plastic wrap and let cool.
6. For the batter: whisk eggs with sugar, grated lemon zest and a pinch of salt.
7. Then add milk, oil and vanilla extract.
8. Lastly stir in flour and sifted baking powder.
9. Pour the batter into a mold, then add lemon custard on top creating a spiral pattern.
10. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° for about 40 minutes.
