Cheese souffle cake: how to make it creamy and delicate!

So creamy and delicious, this dessert is a show-stopper!

INGREDIENTS
200g pound cake
250g (1.1 cup) cream cheese
45g (0.3 cup) powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
160g (0.6 cup) thick yogurt
20ml (1 1/4 tbsp) milk
15ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
30g (2 tbsp) flour 00
3 egg whites
45g (3 tbsp) sugar
Hot water for baking

METHOD
  1. Crumble the pound cake into small pieces and place it on the bottom of the cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the cream cheese with a mixer and add powdered sugar, then mix again. Add egg yolks, yogurt, lemon juice, milk and mix. Sift the multi-purpose flour and combine once more.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites and add the sugar. Combine the creams with a spatula.
  4. Pour the mixture into a cake pan. Wrap the bottom of the cake tin with foil and place it over a bowl of warm water.
  5. Bake in the oven at 160 C for 1 hour.
