Cherries creamy cake: its delicate taste will surprise you!

Super fluffy and easy to make, this cake is perfect for a delicious breakfast!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
300 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
1 tsp baking powder;
1 egg yolk;
1 egg;
Vanilla extract;
100ml (2/5 cup) milk
200 g (7 oz) pitted cherries;
80ml (2/5 cup) vegetable oil;
160 g (⅔ cup) yogurt;
300 g (1 cup) custard;
170g (3/4 cup) sugar.

Vanilla extract;
100ml (2/5 cup) milk
200 g (7 oz) pitted cherries;
80ml (2/5 cup) vegetable oil;
160 g (⅔ cup) yogurt;
300 g (1 cup) custard;
170g (3/4 cup) sugar.
METHOD
- Whisk one egg yolk and one whole egg with vanilla and sugar.
- Add vegetable oil and yogurt, whisk to combine.
- Mix flour with baking powder and pour the liquids in.
- Whisk the batter until smooth and fold the cherries in.
- Pour the batter into a prepared cake pan, top with custard and bake at 180C/350F for 1 hour.
