Homemade bagels: the recipe for a tasty snack

Ingredients:
- For the dough:
500 g of flour
150 g of water
140 g of milk
12 g of fresh brewer's yeast
Half a tbsp of honey
12 g of salt
30 g of butter
- For boiling:
3 l of water
1 tbsp of baking soda
1 tbsp of honey
- For decoration:
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp of milk
Sesame and poppy seeds
Directions:
1. For starters dissolve yeast into a mixture of water and milk.
2. Aside mix flour and honey, then gradually add the yeast mixture.
3. Start kneading and add diced butter a piece at a time.
4. Lastly add salt.
5. Once you got a smooth and even block, cover with some plastic wrap and let rise for 3 hours.
6. Move the dough onto a floured surface and divide it in 8 balls.
7. Make a hole in the middle of every piece to shape the bagels.
8. Place them onto individual baking paper sheets.
9. Let rest for another hour covered with some plastic wrap.
10. In a pot mix water, baking soda and honey.
11. Dip the bagels into boiling water for 30/40 seconds each side.
12. Now place them on a tray and brush their surface with egg yolk and milk.
13. Decorate with the seeds you prefer.
14. Bake at 200° for 22 minutes.
15. Now stuff them as you want.
