Fake tomatoes: an original idea to serve the mini mozzarella balls!

They seem like tomatoes but they are mini mozzarella balls! So easy and delicious to make.

INGREDIENTS

14 small mozzarella balls;
50 g (3 ½ tbsp) tomato paste;
200 ml (¾ cup) water;
5 g (1 tbsp) agar agar powder.

METHOD

Skewer mozzarella balls and freeze them for 30 minutes.
Whisk tomato paste with water and agar agar, bring to a boil.
Dip mozzarella balls into the tomato mixture to coat evenly.
Let the tomato mixture set and remove tomatoes from the skewer.
Decorate with tomato stems.
