100 g (1 cup) powdered sugar
150 g (2/3 cup) butter
a pinch of salt
1 egg

500 ml (2 cups) milk
2 egg yolks
15 g (2 tbsp) corn flour

Add cold butter and use a hand mixer with dough hooks to crumble the pastry. Mix in egg then continues kneading with your hands. - Form a ball from the pastry, flatten it a bit, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 170C/340F.
- Divide the pastry round into 20 pieces. Shape each piece into a small ball and place it into mini pies mold.
Press each ball firmly over the base and side of the slot and poke with a fork to prevent it from bubbling. Transfer to the oven and bake for 13-15 minutes and let cool. - In a saucepan combine all custard ingredients except cream and butter. Whisk well and cook on low heat stirring constantly for 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer received custard into a bowl, add vanilla sugar, butter and cream and whip for 3-4 minutes. Let cool.
- Using a piping bag, fill each mini pie with the obtained custard.
- Decorate with half of the strawberry on top and serve.
