Chicken roll: an easy recipe perfect for weeknights!

This recipe is a family favorite!
INGREDIENTS
6 chicken breasts
6 slices cheese
6 slices ham
13 slices bacon
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
METHOD
- Season chicken breast with salt and pepper and place between two pieces of plastic wrap. Use the flat side of a meat mallet to pound it flat. Continue with the remaining breasts.
- Line your working surface with plastic wrap and place flatten breasts on top in 2 rows slightly overlapping each other.
- Arrange cheese slices on the flattened chicken and top with ham. With the help of plastic wrap, roll up the chicken, ensuring the filling stays inside. Chill for 1 hour.
- Place bacon strips overlapping slightly on the working surface lined with plastic wrap, place the cooled chicken roll on top and roll it up.
- Preheat the oven to 180C/360F. Bake the roll for 40 minutes or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through.
- When cooked, let sit for 10 minutes, slice and enjoy!
