Sticky cinnamon buns: the delicious alternative to usual buns!

They are one of those treats you do only a couple of times a year because they are not the healthiest thing but flavor-wise they are awesome.
INGREDIENTS

For dough:
80g (6 ½ tbsp) Sugar
80g (5 ½ tbsp) Butter
Salt – 1 tsp / 6g
1 Egg
5g (1 tbsp) Vanilla
490g (3 ½ cups) Cake flour
10g (2 tsp) Dry yeast
380ml (1 ½ cup) Milk
Filling:
80g (6 ½ tbsp) Sugar
12g (1 ½ tbsp) Cinnamon
Caramel topping:
230g (1 cup) Butter
100g (½ cup) Sugar
100g (½ cup) Brown sugar
3g (½ tsp) Salt
160g (½ cup) Corn syrup
50g (½ cup) Pecans
METHOD
- For the dough: In a bowl add sugar, salt and butter. Mix it and add egg and vanilla. Mix it and add flour and yeast. Pour the milk and start kneading it. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- For filling: In a small bowl add sugar and cinnamon. Mix and save for later.
- Spread the dough, add the filling and roll it. Cut the roll into 12 pieces.
- For caramel topping: In a bowl add butter, sugar, brown sugar, salt and mix. Add corn syrup and vanilla. Mix it and spread it onto a baking pan. Sprinkle with pecans and add cinnamon rolls. Let them rest for a while, then, bake it at 180C for 30 minutes. Flip it and serve.
