Basil liqueur: the simple and tasty recipe to make at home

Ingredients:
5 gr of basil leaves
1 liter of water
the peel of a lemon
500 ml of pure alcohol at 95 °
400 gr of granulated sugar
Directions:
In a glass jar insert basil, lemon peel and alcohol.
Leave it for 3 days remembering to shake it three times a day.
After the necessary days bring water and sugar to a boil. Let it cool down. Then strain the mixture with the basil and add to the syrup. Mix and fill the bottles. Let it cool down and enjoy.
