Sandwich cake: a no bake and super easy recipe for a quick and light dinner!

You only need a few ingredients to make a delicious savory cake that everyone will love!
INGREDIENTS

For the cake:
12 slices sandwich bread;
2 cans tuna;
¼ cup scallions, sliced;
5 eggs, boiled and chopped;
3 tbsp capers, chopped;
2 tbsp mayonnaise;
1 package cream cheese.
For the cream:
1 package cream cheese;
2 tbsp mayonnaise.
METHOD
- Start with making the salad by combining drained tuna, scallions, chopped eggs, capers, mayo and cream cheese together. Check for seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Make a layer of 3 slices of sandwich bread. Add 1/3 of tuna salad on top and cover with another 3 slices of bread. Add more salad and repeat with leftover bread and filling.
Cover the cake with plastic wrap and leave in fridge overnight. - Next day make a simple «cream» by combining cream cheese with mayonnaise and spreading it all over the cake like regular frosting.
- Optionally you can decorate the cake with your favorite sliced vegetables and greens.
