Shakshuka: baked egg recipe perfect for dinner

Ingredients:
2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Medium Onion, Diced
1 Medium Red Pepper, Chopped
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1 28-Ounce Can Crushed Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Cumin
1 Teaspoon Paprika
½ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
5 Eggs
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Fresh Chopped Parsley for Garnish
Directions:
Heat a large pan. Add olive oil, onion, and red pepper. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until onion is translucent and pepper is soft. Add garlic and seasonings. Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Season again with salt and pepper. Stir well. Create a small divot in the sauce where you want to place your egg. Crack the egg in a bowl and not directly into the sauce. Gently place the egg in the divot on the sauce. Continue with all the eggs and season the tops with salt and pepper. Place pan in a 375 Degree F oven for 7-10 minutes. Top with fresh parsley and serve.
