Cheese sticks: you won't be able to stop at one!

INGREDIENTS
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
5g (2 tsp) baking powder;
1 tsp (5 g) sugar;
1/2 tsp salt;
1 egg;
70ml (1/3 cup) milk;
60g (1/4 cup) butter, cold;
20 sticks of cheese.
METHOD
- Mix flour with salt, sugar and baking powder. Add cold butter and work everything with your hands until combined. You should get a mixture with a texture of wet sand.
- Make a well in the center and pour egg and milk inside. Knead the dough until it comes together, rolls it out and fold as shown in the video.
- Set the dough aside for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into 2 cm strips. Brush each strip with water lightly and wrap around a cheese stick, overlapping and making sure to cover it well.
- You can freeze cheese sticks or fry them right away for 3-4 minutes or until golden.
