Quick fruit cake: a beautiful dessert ready in just

INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
300g (2 ¼ cup) flour;
2 ½ tsp baking powder;
½ tsp salt;
170g (¾ cup) softened butter;
60ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil;
310g (1 ½ cup) sugar;
4 eggs;
1 tbsp vanilla extract;
240ml (1 cup) milk;
Whipped cream;
Assorted fruits.
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line standard baking sheet with parchment.
- Beat butter with sugar for 3 minutes. Add vanilla and eggs (2 at a time) while still beating.
- Add half of the milk.
- Separately whisk the flour with baking powder.
- Add dry mixture into the batter. Whisk until smooth, then pour the rest of the milk in.
- Pour the batter on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool down.
- Slice the cake into 6 squire pieces, then cover it with cream and top with sliced fruits. Place them on top of one another to form a cake. Cover the cake with more cream.
- Decorate as shown in the video.
