Rice milk: the recipe to prepare it at home

Ingredients:
400 gr rice
2 lt water
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Direction:
Cook the rice in water for about 15 minutes add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, on medium heat. After the time necessary to cook the rice, blend it for a few minutes. Then, if you prefer, pass the milk through a sieve so that the rice is retained. The rice milk is very thick, depending on the palate it can simply be diluted by adding water after the milk is ready, until the desired consistency is obtained. It can be stored in the fridge and consumed for up to three days. You can also use brown rice, much healthier, however, with a longer cooking time. Rice milk purifies our body and, for this reason, must be ingested in the morning.
