Almond and honey squares: the recipe for delicious biscuits to try

Ingredienti:
- For the shortcrust pastry:
140 g of butter
240 g of flour
30 g of almond flour
60 g of sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 packet of vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
1 eggs
- For the topping:
200 g of almond flakes
80 g of sugar
80 g of honey
80 g of butter
130 g of cream
1 pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Mix flour, sugar, almond flakes and salt in a large bowl.
2. Stir in butter and mix with your hands.
3. Then add vanilla and egg, then knead.
4. Flatten the dough in between two baking paper sheets and refrigerate for 1 hour.
5. Make some holes with a fork and bake at 180° for 10 minutes.
6. Mix sugar, butter and cream in a saucepan. Then bring to a boil.
7. Stir in almond flakes, add a pinch of salt and pour on top of the shortcrust base.
8. Bake again at 180° for 20/25 minutes.
9. Let cool completely, then cut in squares.
