Almond paste cookies: the Italian recipe to try!

Moist and chewy on the inside, crispy and crunchy on the outside. Made with just a few ingredients, they’re super easy to make!
INGREDIENTS
480g (4 1/4 cups) of almond flour
280g (2 3/4 cups) of powdered sugar
1 egg
Vanilla extract
2 egg whites
Candied cherries
METHOD
- In a bowl add the almond flour, powdered sugar, egg, vanilla extract, egg whites, and mix until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
- Pour the mixture into a whipped cream bag and make the pastries by squeezing the dough directly onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Then add the candied cherry in the center of each of the pastry.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C/356°F for 20 minutes.
