Torrijas de Leche: the recipe for the Spanish dessert with stale bread

Ingredients:
400 ml of milk
Oranges and lemon zest
Vanilla essence
3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Stale bread (slices)
Olive oil
2 eggs
Honey
Directions:
1. Pour milk in a saucepan. Then add orange and lemon zest, vanilla, cloves and cinnamon.
2. Bring on the stove and heat up for a few minutes.
3. Then strain the liquid and use it to soak bread slices.
4. Now dip them in whisked eggs.
5. Cook in the airfryer at 200° for 5 minutes. Turn and cook for 5 minutes more.
6. Mix honey with a bit of warm water.
7. Drizzle on top of the bread slices.
