Puff pastry and zucchini tree: the appetizer recipe for the Holidays

Ingredients:
1 zucchini
1 puff pastry sheet
40 g of basil pesto
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper
Cherry tomatoes
1 egg yolk
Directions:
1. Cut zucchini in round slices, then cut in half.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Cut puff pastry in stripes, then fill with pesto and mozzarella cheese.
4. Place zucchini slices along the edges and roll to close.
5. Arrange the rolls in the shape of a Christmas tree.
6. Brush with whisked egg yolk, then place cherry tomatoes.
7. Bake at 180° for 25 minutes.
