Carrot and walnuts cake: the recipe for a delicious dessert you must try

Ingredients:
- For the cake batter:
80 g of toasted walnuts
230 g of grated carrots
2 large eggs
180 g of sugar
100 g of vegetable oil
1 tsp of cinnamon
7 g of baking powder
190 g of flour
40 g of raisins
40 g of candied fruit
- For the caramel sauce:
115 g of sugar
50 g of butter
80 ml of cream
- For decoration:
150 ml of whipping cream + 1 tbsp of powdered sugar
Chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Blend carrots and mix with eggs, sugar, oil, baking powder, cinnamon and flour.
2. Mix then stir in chopped walnuts, raisins and candied fruit.
3. Pour the batter in a mold and bake in a pre-heated oven at 170° for 50-60 minutes.
4. Melt sugar in a pan, then add diced butter.
5. Lastly add hot cream.
6. Let cool, then pour the caramel sauce onto the cake.
7. Decorare with whipped cream and chopped walnuts.
