Walnut pork roast: an amazing meal for surprise you guests!

So tender and delicious, this dinner recipe is a must-try!

INGREDIENTS

1 celery stalk, chopped;

1 carrot, peeled, chopped;

1 shallot, cut in half;

2 bay leaves;

2 rosemary springs;

1 kg (2 pounds) pork;

120ml (1/2 cup) broth;

350ml (1 ½ cup) milk;

80 g (1 cup) walnutes;

15 g (2 tbsp) cornstarch.

Vegetable oil

METHOD

Add olive oil into a large pot and cook vegetables and herbs in it for a couple of minutes, until slightly brown and fragrant.
Move vegetables to one side of the pot and brown pork on each side.
Pour milk and broth into a pot, cover with a lid and cook pork for 1 hour.
Remove pork onto a plate and strain any residual liquid.
Whisk broth and milk mixture with cornstarch and return back into the pot. Whisk until the sauce thickens then blend with walnuts.
Serve sliced pork with walnut sauce.
