Baked pork shank: the recipe to make it tender, juicy and savory

Ingredients:
1 whole pork shank (or sliced)
Barbecue sauce
Rosemary
2 garlic cloves
3 onions
Half a bottle of double malt beer
200 g of bacon
Directions:
1. In a pan roast the bacon until it's crispy.
2. In the same pan stir fry the meat on all sides.
3. Season with garlic, salt and onion cut in big pieces.
4. Move everything into a baking tray, then crumble bacon on top of the meat.
5. Pour the beer and add rosemary sprigs and barbecue sauce.
6. Bake for 3 hours.
7. Drain the cooking liquid and reduce it on the stove for a couple of minutes.
8. Serve the pork shank with the sauce you got.
