Mini tarts with cream: the recipe for quick and delicious treats

Ingredients:
- For the shortcrust:
250 g of cake flour
90 g of powdered sugar
145 g of butter
1 egg
Orange zest
2 g of baking powder
- For the cream:
500 ml of milk
130 g of sugar
6 egg yolks
40 g of cornstarch
Lemon zest
Vanillin
Directions:
1. Mix eggs, sugar, cornstarch, vanillin and grated lemon zest.
2. Also add warm milk.
3. Heat this mixture on the stove stirring until it thickens.
4. Let the cream cool completely.
5. In a bowl mix powdered sugar, grated orange zest, butter and flour.
6. Knead until you get an even and smooth dough.
7. Wrap and let cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.
8. Spread the shortcrust on a floured work surface using a rolling pin.
9. Make some disks using a cookie cutter.
10. Place them in a baking tray and bake at 170 degrees for 6-7 minutes.
11. Fill with the cream and cover with other shortcrust disks.
12. Brush their surface with whisked egg.
13. Bake again at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
14. Decorate with powdered sugar.
