Chocolate sticks: the perfect treat to make at home

You won't be able to stop at one!
INGREDIENTS
1 egg
100g (1/2 cup) of sugar
240g (2 cups) of flour
4g of baking powder
90g (1/2 cup) of butter
400g of melted chocolate

90g (1/2 cup) of butter
400g of melted chocolate
METHOD
- In a bowl add the egg, sugar and mix until the sugar is dissolved. Sift the flour and baking powder, add the butter and knead until you get a smooth, homogeneous, and compact dough.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes to harden.
- After time has elapsed, cut a piece of shortcrust pastry and make a loaf long and thick just under a little finger. Cut the loaf into sticks about 8-10 cm long.
- Arrange the sticks inside a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 180°C/356°F for about 12 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate and with the help of tongs, completely dip the biscuits, one at a time, into the chocolate.
- Arrange the togo on parchment paper and allow it to cool completely before serving.
