Fried chocolate: a sweet treat to die for!

The result is just perfect!

INGREDIENTS
400g chocolate
400ml / 13.5oz heavy cream
 
For the test:
1 cup milk
2 eggs
100g / 0.5 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
140g / 1.12 cups flour (all purpose)
160g / 1.3 cups corn flour
 
METHOD
  1. Heat the chocolate in the microwave. Add cream and stir. Pour the resulting ganache into a mold and freeze for 2 hours. Sprinkle the frozen chocolate with cocoa and cut into portions. String each portion on a skewer.
  2. Mix all ingredients for the dough. Transfer the dough to a tall glass. Dip each skewer with chocolate into the dough and deep-fry. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
