Fried chiacchiere: how to make them golden and perfect!

Here's a delicious Italian recipe to try!
INGREDIENTS
320g (2 1/2 cups) of flour
2 eggs
Lemon (zest)
50g (1/4 cup) of sugar
50ml (1/4 cup) of milk
40g (1/4 cup) of butter
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar

METHOD
- In a bowl add the flour, eggs, lemon (zest), sugar, milk, butter and mix all together. Let's knead with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Divide the dough into four parts and roll it out with the rolling pin on a well-floured surface. Obtain a thin sheet, a few millimeters, then cut into rectangles and engrave two strips inside.
- Transfer the strips into the hot oil and fry until golden on both sides. Decorate with powdered sugar.
