Sweet braids: perfect for a snack!

Perfect for a delicious breakfast!

INGREDIENTS
100ml (1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) warm water;
80g (⅓ cup) condensed milk;
7g dry yeast;
5g (½ tbsp) sugar;
250g (1 ½ cup) all-purpose flour;
25g (2 tbsp) butter;
¼ tsp salt;
Butter.
METHOD
  1. Whisk water with condensed milk, sugar, and yeast. Separately combine flour and salt.
  2. Mix dry and wet ingredients until the dough forms. Set the dough aside for 10 minutes, then knead with soft butter.
  3. Set the dough aside for 1 hour, then cut into 6 pieces and roll each one out into a rectangle.
  4. Spread butter on top of each piece of dough and roll tightly.
  5. Cut the roll in the middle in half lengthwise, then braid as shown in the video.
  6. Set the pieces of bread aside until doubled in size, then brush with egg wash and bake at 190°C/375°F for 20 minutes.
