Stuffed eggplants with tomato sauce: you can't miss this!

The best way ever to cook eggplants!

INGREDIENTS
2 liters (8 cups) water;
1 tbsp salt;
2 medium eggplants;
250 g (½ pound) minced beef;
1 small onion, shredded;
Garlic, minced;
1 tsp salt;
1 tsp chili powder;
1 tsp dry thyme;
1 tbsp flour;
30 ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil;
360 ml (1 ½ cup) tomato sauce;
2 garlic cloves, crushed;
1 basil spring.
 
METHOD
  1. Slice eggplants as shown on the video.
  2. Whisk water with 1 tbsp of salt and place eggplants into salted water for 10 minutes. Dry out with paper towels.
  3. Mix beef with onion, garlic, salt, chili powder, thyme, flour and oil.
  4. Fill the cuts with meat and fry in vegetable oil until slightly golden.
  5. Cook tomato sauce with basil and garlic for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer onto a pan with tomato sauce, brush in on top and cook covered on the lowest heat for 30 minutes.
