Hazelnut chocolate cupcakes: the result will leave you speechless!

Easy to make and so delicious, the result is just amazing!
INGREDIENTS

For the cupcakes:
125g dark chocolate
125g (0.5 cup) butter
125g hazelnut cream
100g (1/2 cup) brown sugar (or to taste)
A pinch of salt
80g (2/3 cup) flour
20g (2.5 tbsp) cornstarch
4 eggs
For the ganache:
60g dark chocolate
80g hazelnut cream
15g (1 tbsp) butter
28ml (2 tbsp) heavy cream
3g/0.1 oz rum
For decoration (optional):
Hazelnut cream
METHOD
- In a medium bowl lightly beat 4 eggs.
- In a saucepan combine dark chocolate, butter and hazelnut cream and heat on low, stirring constantly, until smooth and remove from heat.
- Transfer the chocolate mixture into a large bowl, add brown sugar and salt, and stir to dissolve.
- Gradually add sifted flour and cornstarch to the same bowl and mix to combine.
- Pour in lightly beaten eggs and whisk to obtain cupcakes batter.
- Preheat your oven to 180C/360F.
- Divide the batter evenly between muffin cups lined with paper liners and bake for 20 minutes. When ready, let cool for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the ganache: In a saucepan melt dark chocolate, hazelnut cream and butter. Stir well until smooth and homogeneous. Add heavy cream and rum, and stir to combine.
- Take off the liners from cupcakes and dip the top of each cupcake in the ganache and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Decorate cupcakes with some more hazelnut cream if you want and serve!
