Chocolate pine cones cupcakes: everyone will love the result

INGREDIENTS
Cupcakes:
100g (¾ cup) of all-purpose flour
40g (½ cup) of cocoa powder
3g (¾ tsp) of baking powder
2g (¼ tsp) of baking soda
2g (¼ tsp) of salt
2 eggs
100g (½ cup) of sugar
100g (½ cup) of brown sugar
80ml (⅓ cup) of vegetable oil
15ml (2 tsp) of vanilla extract
120ml (½ cup) of buttermilk
Buttercream
Chocolate cornflakes

METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
2. Whisk dry ingredients in one bowl. Mix both types of sugar with eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, and vegetable oil. Pour liquids into the dry mixture and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
3. Place paper muffin cups into a muffin tin. Fill each cup with batter ⅔ way up. Add 2 small pieces of cardboard on both sides of each cupcake as shown in the video.
4. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Let cool down.
5. Cover the top of each cupcake with buttercream and insert chocolate cornflakes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
