Chocolate cones: the perfect dessert to surprise everyone!

INGREDIENTS

150g (2/3 cup) butter

400g (3 1/4 cups) flour

100ml (1/2 cup) milk

1 tbsp vanilla extract

50g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar

1 egg

1/3 tsp salt

150g chocolate

500ml (2 1/4 cups) milk

70g (1/3 cup) sugar

50g (1/4 cup) butter

40g (1/3 cup) starch

1 egg

Sugar

Raspberries for decoration

METHOD

In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, and butter. Add in milk and egg.
In a pan add milk, cornstarch, and sugar, cook on low heat until thick. Turn off the heat and add in chocolate, butter, and vanilla extract.
Divide the dough into two pieces. Roll out each piece and cut it into strips. Wind each strip on a cone.
Transfer to the baking pan and spread with egg and sprinkle with sugar, bake at 180’C (350’F) for 30 minutes.
Fill each cone with prepared chocolate cream.
