Chessboard cake: perfect to surprise everyone at a party!

How to make a unique cake that will surprise everyone!

INGREDIENTS

10 eggs
500g (3 cups) flour
350g (1 3/4 cups) sugar
400g softened butter
2 tsp baking powder
80g (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
1 kg chocolate
300ml (1 1/4 cups) cream

METHOD

In a bowl mix together eggs with sugar, and add butter, flour, and baking powder.
Divide the dough into 2 portions and add cocoa powder to the second.
Transfer light and dark dough to the baking pans and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 60 minutes.
Slice each cake into two pieces and make the same round cuts.
Mix chocolate with hot cream.
Fold the cake using light and dark pieces alternately.
Spread with prepared chocolate cream on each layer.
Top with chocolate cream.
