Ricotta cheese balls with tomato sauce: the recipe for an easy and tasty dish

Ingredients:
500 g of ricotta cheese
2 medium eggs
70 g of grated cheese
Pepper
Nutmeg
Fresh parsley
Fresh basil
70 g of breadcrumbs
Olive oil
1 garlic glove
800 g of peeled tomatoes
Directions:
1. In a bowl crush the ricotta cheese with a fork.
2. Add in the eggs, cheese, pepper, nutmeg, salt, parsley and basil mixing well.
3. Add the breadcrumbs.
4. With your hands form the balls, then let them cool in the fridge.
5. In a non-stick saucepan pour some olive oil and add in the garlic.
6. Blend the tomatoes and pour them into the pan, with some basil and salt.
7. Let cook for 15 minutes, mixing from time to time.
8. When the sauce is ready, add the cheese balls placing them so that they don't touch each other.
9. Let cook for 15 minutes with the lid on.
