Tiger bread: the easy recipe to make it at home in a few steps!

With its iconic crackled crust and pillowy centre, tiger bread is a fantastic baking recipe to try!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
Dry yeast – 7 g
Sugar – 25 g
Warm water – 280 ml
Flour – 500 g
Salt – 1 tsp
Melted butter – 3 Tbsp
Topping:
Rice flour – 60 g
Dry yeast – 4 g
Warm water – 70 ml
Oil – 2 Tbsp
Sugar – 1 Tbsp
Salt – ½ tsp
METHOD
- In a bowl add flour, dry yeast and sugar. Leave it for few minutes. Add flour, salt and melted butter. Mix it and leave for 40 minutes.
- Make the topping. Put rice flour, dry yeast, warm water, oil and salt. Mix it and cover it until you use it.
- Knead the dough a little bit, put it in the springform pan and cover with water. Let it sit for 1 hour. Cover the dough with topping and bake on 220C for 10 minutes and then on 200C for 25 minutes. Let it cool and then serve.
